Chestnut Hill Trail System

Six miles of blazed trail - North Pond Ridge, Bullard Farm, and Chestnut Hill. Map kiosk at Fittz Memorial Forest.

Description:

Six miles of blazed hiking trail, incorporating  the North Pond Ridge Trail, the Bullard Farm Loop, and the Chestnut Hill Trail. A kiosk with maps can be found at the North Pond Ridge trail head in the Fittz Memorial Forest. Moderate difficulty.

Directions:

To trail-head kiosk: From Rte. 2, take Exit 14 (Lake Mattawa). From Rte. 2 east, turn left on W. River St and left on Holtshire Rd. From Rte 2 west, bear right. Go 1.5 mi. and turn right onto Chestnut Hill Rd. Parking pullout and trail head 0.2 mi on left.
