Local artisan, Kim Bolton, is inspired by the preserved settings and surrounding nature in the North Quabbin region.  Her subjects range from classic, country landscapes filled with farm scenes, stonewalls, and mills to the area's abundant wildlife.  A self-taught artist, Kim works in various mediums including detailed pencil sketches, watercolor paintings, and sophisticated, intricate, painted clay scratchboard pieces, capturing a life-like realism.

Kim Bolton's work remarkably conveys the textures, eyes, and facial expressions of her subjects.  In addition to her North Quabbin artwork, Kim has been commissioned to prepare various portraits.  Her impressive client list includes a custom portrait of Nat King Cole for Engleburt Humperdink and an autographed group portrait of the Bee Gees.
