M.E. Kane has been creating fine art depicting the local landscape and interior/exterior custom design services since 1990. She enjoys researching and exploring the local scenic and historic landscape to create an atmospheric snapshot of the beauty in her local area. She is formally trained in Theatre Design and classically trained in Art, Design & Sculpture at Smith College.

M.E. is originally from Leicester, MA, and has lived in the North Quabbin region since 1999. She enjoys all of the conservation lands especially Tully Mountain and Tully Lake.

M.E.’s subject matter of 2-D paintings connect her to the North Quabbin Region with exterior landscape designs using sustainable techniques suitable for agricultural zones.

Her work has been shown at the Salmon Falls Artisan Gallery in Shelburne, Green Trees Gallery in Northfield, Arts Worcester, Millers River Environmental Center in Athol, the BIG E craft show in Springfield, and North Quabbin Woods.
